I had an older version back in 2024, and the clock was extremely reliable and I only had to worry about battery changes over the course of a year and a half. Since February 2026, I’ve seen a whole new level of functionality from TimeVocalist in a new hardware revision they put out. I don’t know how they’re storing 42 distinct voice profiles on a device the size of a table coaster, but somehow they’re doing that and more. The reminders are great and they don’t let me forget what I’m supposed to do The alarm tone options are also incredibly diverse and give me a lot of options I don’t need a reminder. The app is always getting better accessibility-wise, and overall I find I can set up most things on the clock using my iPhone. I do appreciate that they also give you controls on the back of the device to set things manually if you don’t have a smartphone just don’t feel comfortable navigating a modern app UI.
Overall, a job well done! If they came out with a wristwatch version of this, I’d be on it in a heartbeat.
